More Than 100,000 Americans Urge EPA To Restrict Unnecessary Use of Monsanto’s Weedkiller on Oats

A coalition of companies and public interest groups, led by Environmental Working Group (EWG) and Megafood, gathered 104,952 signatures on online petitions to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), urging the agency to lower the tolerance limit of glyphosate in oats and prohibit its pre-harvest use.   The EPA's legal limit for glyphosate residues on oats is 30 parts per million, or ppm. Roundup “Weed Killer” Contributed to CA Man’s Cancer.

This is the second such verdict against Monsanto-Bayer within the past five months, following the initial victory of Dwayne "Lee" Johnson - awarded 78.5 million last October. Neither verdict, including 1,600 other pending cases in the US District Court for the … [Read more...]

The main metabolite of … [Read more...]

Is Monsanto’s Poison in Your Breakfast Food?

It is now the most widely used agricultural chemical in history. This year, for the first time ever, the FDA will begin testing for glyphosate residue in some foods. Glyphosate has become ubiquitous in our environment. It has … [Read more...]
